  • Bring warm layers — it’s 10–15 °C colder at the top and often windy.

Bad weather up high?

Skip the pass and do the Piburger See instead — a warm forest lake near Oetz, ~30 min away, with an easy 1h loop and rowboat rental. Or move the Aqua Dome day here.
